Matthew and his wife Joy have been married since 1991 and have 4 adult children. His most cherished title is to be called Grandad to 3 grandchildren. He is a U.S Army veteran and served with the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Desert Storm. Matthew enjoys playing with his grandchildren and going to baseball and football games. He also was a football referee for 6 seasons in recreational leagues, middle and high school level and in a semi-professional league. He has a great love of history and could easily find post-retirement employment as a guide on any of the local civil war battlefields. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors and traveling with his wife.
